Babson College has a global student and alumni base and is the #1 ranked college for entrepreneurship educationin the United States.
Leveraging their mutual synergies, the joint initiative between IAN and Babson College is a pitch Competition open to startup companies in any industry and in any location around the world which are owned, controlled, and/or founded by Babson students, parents, faculty, or alumni. The Competition will culminate in a virtual finale showcase event involving three or more finalists to be selected by IAN. IAN is committed to providing strategic mentorship to the startup finalists and to helping them bolster their talent and scale and expand their business operations globally.

Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a Public Sector Undertaking set up by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as an Interface Agency with the aim of strengthening and empowering emerging Biotech enterprises to facilitate them in undertaking strategic research and innovation that addresses nationally relevant product development needs. BIRAC is playing an important role in the implementation and delivery of the flagship programmes of the Indian Government especially ‘Make in India’ and ‘Start-up India’and has a crucial role in transformation of the Indian Bio economy to US$ 100 billion by 2025. Over the last five years, BIRAC has been at the forefront of a mission to transform the innovative index of the country especially in the area of Biotechnology. Through its efforts and alongwith its partners BIRAC has been able to create a pan-India presence supporting over 700 Biotech companies, SMEs, Research Institutes, which include around 500 startups and entrepreneurs. To provide launchpads for start-ups BIRAC has supported 24 Bio incubators across India. Through its focussed support BIRAC now has around 124 IPs generated and around 70 products that have reached commercialisation.

The 10,000 Start-ups is an initiative of NASSCOM which is aimed at incubating, funding and supporting 10,000 technology start-ups in India over the next ten years. The program is partnered by Indian Angel Network and supported by Google, Microsoft and Verisign.
SINE is the business incubator at IIT Bombay, and supports technology start-ups that are based on products or intellectual property. It has been supporting start-ups since 2004 and has so far incubated more than 80 starts-ups. Majority of SINE supported star-ups have become revenue generating, with several having reached Rs.50-100 cr. in revenue, and many start-ups have raised multiple rounds of funding.
Plugin: Collaborative Incubation Program for Hardware & Systems Startups. DST, Intel and Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (SINE) are collaborating to conduct a new incubation program to support hardware& systems-based startups in India. The 1-year incubation will help startups to develop their products and assist in go-to-market strategies and scaling up.
