Reporting To: Sr. Manager, Engineering

Years of Experience: 3-5 yrs

As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for the development of iOS applications for our products. You will:

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

• Proficient with Objective-C and Swift, and Cocoa Touch
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Additional Competencies

• Experience with Alamofire (AFNetworking), CocoaPods, Carthage, Fastlane
• Experience with Design Patterns such as MVC, MVVM
• Experience with functional, reactive programming
• Experience in Scrum, Agile Methodology
